This guitar is pretty damn guitar. It was my first after a Fender Starcaster. I have had this for about 2 years.. and now the knobs are beginning to fall off, as well as the paint. The pickups are very bad, so they def. need to be changed. I find them fuzzy. For this guitar, you are mainly paying fot the paint job, you can def. find something better at this price range

The greatness of this guitar us undeniable. the second this guitar touched my hands, it felt slim and beautiful, the fact that the neck is not painted helps you move your hands faster. Only some complaints. The guitar plays beautifully, but when you plug in to the jack, you could sometimes hear feedback. The incredible playability outruns some of my friend Gibsons, most of which the studio model. Overall great guitar, I have perfomed with it for about 9 shows, it makes a great sound.

I played this guitar at my local store and i gotta say it is perfect. People complain about les paul weight i personally like it. You get more tone. the pickups are reeaally nice for passives. I really dig the bulls-eye graphic and the maple neck is EXTREMLY FAST. The finish feels oiled. I plan to buy one in the new year and i suggest you pick one up if you wanna go WYLDE

I always wanted a Zakk Wylde Les Paul but there is no way I'm paying 6000 bucks for any guitar just because it has Gibson on the headstock! I got a great deal on this and had the EMG 81 and 85 installed and I cannot put it down! I have played the Gibson version and I'm telling you there is not enough difference to warrent paying for the name. I use this live on almost a weekly basis and it just rips! I do all our drop C tunes with it and it is just effortless to play. I want the camo and the buzzsaw now! The neck fits my hand perfect and it stays in tune no matter what.And I like the weight and feel.The on reason I gave it a 4.5 overall is because I wish it came with the active pickups.

Ok. So I bought this guitar last year because I wanted a guitar for metal/hardcore stuff. I had bough a standard Epi Les Paul the previous year but I still wanted something a little heavier. I was not let down at all. Do NOT believe anything bad about this guitar. Just play it first and make your own assumptions. The neck has an unfinished paint job, but it actually makes it more playable then the regular paint on normal Les Pauls. the action is perfect. The Grover tuners keep it in tune nicely. Now, about the pickups. IN NO WAY DO THESE PICKUPS SOUND TERRIBLE OR UNCLEAR. They are actually amazing. As said before, I would maybe suggest putting 81/85's in there later but it is not needed right away. These pickups are fine. I've played many gigs with this thing for the year I've had it and I'm nothing but thrilled with it. It's held up against the best. Definitely recommended.
