I’ve had the Wilshire for a month & played it every night with many positive notes & a few suggestions. First, this guitar has a great tone when unplugged, a testament to the mahogany body. The neck, fretboard, & frets are nice, the neck is a thick D like a Les Paul. The tuners are VERY sensitive. Pull the new strings taught multiple times, it will take time to get used to tuning with the OEM tuners. The Alnico pickups are sweet, better than old Epi ceramics, and produce a warm defined tone. The thick neck and pickup set are designed for overdriven rock, not heavy metal solos. The finish is 90% nice, with a few noticeable imperfections. As with all Chinese guitars, the electronics are subpar. Buy a US Switchcraft ¼” jack and CTS pots. With a setup and nice electronics, you will have an axe on-par with entry level Gibsons. The Wilshire is really fun to play, looks unique, and is structurally well-built. I always wanted a 70’s Crestwood so I’m very glad I finally found something close!

Okay, so I got this guitar back in the summer. It was great for about a month when I realized the nut for the jack was lose. It was a simple fix until it happened again and again and again. Now I can't plug in anything without the cheap jack setup falling apart. I was dissapointed that such a great guitar could have such a small and irritating flaw. Other than that though, it is a great sounding and light weight axe.

Mine is great and If you need a case, just get the Epiphone SG case and your set. This is just as much fun to play as my PRS Singlecut SE, or Gibson SG. It has great action and feels like it costs much more. Sure some guys will pick it to death but this thing rocks. If you use it all the time you might have to replace the input jack but that should be easy enough. It doesn't weigh alot so it doesn't fatigue you. Where else can you get such a cool guitar for such little green? I also want the new worn Wilshire that just emerged on the scene. Rock on.

I had this guitar for a few weeks. Fret buzz is a problem with it. The Input jack falls at the worst times. The knobes are loose and when I tuned it a cracking sound came from the bridge. I returned. If you are getting one good luck!

Cool looking right out of the box, very light weight. Bridge came setup way too high. After being adjusted, it's fine. No buzzing on any frets. Neck feels nice and the inlays are a nice touch for a cheap[er] guitar. Sounds pretty good naturally, but my amp is in my storage unit so I haven't heard it amplified yet. I'm pretty confident it'll sound nice, though. Okay, now my gripes: Even though the guitar looks pretty, it feels like its a cheap guitar. Mine seems to go out of tune easily. However, these things shouldn't discourage one from getting it. All in all, this guitar is money well spent. I like it, but I want to love it. Maybe I'll look into installing a locking nut or something, the going out of tune thing really annoys me...
