This is my first real guitar and it smokes. I've had Les Paul copies which is nothing compared to this guy. With the Floyd Rose,it rocks and now I can make those Dimebag squeals. And having the Les Paul signature on the headstock means that this is the real deal.

I gave a 5 on the value cos for the price you pay, nothing beats having a real Les Paul.

Out of the three guitars I've owned this is by far the best one. This is my first les paul though. After playing this guitar I don't think I'll be playing my other ones much more if at all. The all white neck and black chrome hardware brings a smile to my face any time I look at it. The whammy bar is great. As the description says you can dive bomb with out any tonal difficulties. Since this is my first not cheap/ can be found in the electronic section of a department store, I'm not really sure what to look for but I can say that this guitar is amazing compared to a dropped fender "STARcaster" (not stratocaster). The tone of this guitar is amazing. When set to the neck pickup it sounds smooth and thick. When set to the bridge it sounds raw and punchy. GREAT GUITAR

These guitars play fairly well and sound decent through a good amp but have serious quality issues. There are problems with the tremolos and the paint had runs in it.

I tried 2 of these and they both had problems with the tremolo springs rubbing against the side of the spring cavity. The tremolo cavity wasn't routered properly and on one of the guitars you could actually see parts of the pickup and one the tremolo studs from the spring cavity.

I play a lot of the old guitar instrumentals from the 50s and 60s, The Ventures, Dwayne Eddy ect. You cannot play that music without a wammy bar, I also use the wammy to accent a lot of modern songs I play. Why did it take so long to come out with this guitar, when I seen it I had to buy it. The open humbuckers sound great, I do not need to change the pickups, their hot and have great tone. This is a fantastic guitar for the money, I wish it had came in different colors.

This exactly what I was looking for in a guitar! Although the floyd rose is only LICENCED it still does the job. The stock pickups were weak but who uses stock pickups anyway? I put a dimebucker in the bridge an it screeeamms! Great guitar! Had it for 6 monthes and love it. If you get one keep it because there are not many like it!
