WOW What a grea guitar

Just piced it up 12-22-09 and this is my first LP and I have to tell you that this sounds much better than many of the Gibson LP's I have listened to. I was looking for something with some warm sounds as well as bite and this Epi LP has it with the Alinco Classic Plus pickups on it.

I had the original Starfire, 70's Gibson 335 TD, Peavey T-60, Harmony single cutaway from the 60's and a few others. But this beats them all for tone and playing. I had to set the string height and touch up the intonation. I put a set of Slinky Classic all nickel wound 10's on it and man it is ever sweet. I have no complaints about this guitar. All I have to do is lay my fingers on the strings and the balance is fantasic it stays where I put it. The right solid body archtop for the job I want it to do.

If you buy this I don't think you will ever regreat it. You should really play one for yourself that is what sold me on it.

I bought this Limited Edition Les Paul Custom about 4 years ago as my very first guitar. Although I admit I had nowhere near as much idea what I was looking for then as I do now, I still love this guitar. I now have 7 guitars ranging from Fender Tele, to ESP Explorer shape, and Ibanez RGA which are all amazing but this one keeps up right along with them all. Over the years I've kept it in many tunings, I now keep it in a standard B tuning and even that low it still sounds awesome. I also really like that its not as heavy as many other Les Pauls I've played, but don't be fooled. Its a solid guitar. It doesn't have some of the features I've grown to like over time such as coil-splitting, but for the regularly available features of a Les Paul, I love it.

Owned and played this Epiphone Limited Edition for 2.5 years, great guitar, no problems, solid gear. Sounds better than many I have played that were twice the price, Epiphone/Gibson put together a great package in this instrument.

I really love this guitar, I have had mine for a few years now and haven't really played it all that much until more recently. I love the sound! It's tone is great through my VOX AD30VT amp after extensive tweaking and experimenting. Now I have a hard time putting it down. Mine also came with a crooked diamond but not real bad! It is still a beautiful axe! Mine needs a pro set up, hence the 4.5 on quality; the intonation needs adjustment. I cannot wait to play it after that. It is slightly uncomfortable to play because of the poor factory set up.
