I bought this used. Not a scratch on it, no dings, just like new! Saved a bundle. Also applied 20% coupon I received in the mail. THANK YOU MUSICIANS FRIEND! This guitar is a beautiful piece of work. Looks, sounds, and plays fantastic. Made in China but so what. If you want an LP this is an excellent choice. You could get a Gibson LP but I believe any difference in looks, tone or playability is not very noticeable.

I hate to say say this, I am a 30year vet but this les paul blows my gibson away! It is unbelievable! Its the fastest guitar i have. I own 13 guitars! Buy it you'll like it.

this guitar is great for the price its beautifull and personaly its my favorit guitar the only flaw is that its a little bassy when its in clean but it has a killer destorition but me personally would change the pickups to the gibson classic custom pickups the sound 100 times better and if you did that you would still come out cheaper than buiyng its gibson bretherin but overall great guitar

Nice guitar. The Higher End Epi Les Pauls have always been pretty good for me. This one is no exception. The one thing about it... it is a different look for your standard les paul Epi or Gibson, The open coil pickups and all black body with the yellowish binding makes it look like an old school les paul. Pretty much standard epi les paul sound and of course a price that may be easier on your pocket book. Highly recommend for the majority of us who have little cash flow but enjoy playing or have always dreamed of owning a les paul...I always recommend to play before you pay..

I missed the opportunity to buy the Gibson version, now they are a discontinued item. I was thrilled to get this Epi and it plays and sounds like a dream. No muddy pick ups here, clean and bright. Re offer the Gibson and I will play them both!
