Ebony Faded Cherry Vintage Sunburst, Back Vintage Sunburst, Close Angle Vintage Sunburst, Headstock Vintage Sunburst, Body Closeup

A true legend of acoustic instruments, the Gibson Hummingbird was first introduced in 1960 as Gibson's earliest square-shoulder dreadnought. The Epiphone Limited Edition Hummingbird Artist is a no-frills edition of a classic acoustic guitar that features a solid spruce top, mahogany backs and sides for a warm, natural acoustic tone. The 25.5" scale mahogany neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard that facilitates fast picking styles. Appointments include a sculpted tortoise shell pickguard and split parallel fingerboard inlays. I was looking for a guitar to take to jam's, friends house, etc., without taking expensive one's. Shopped around alot, then bought this one. great price, good features, amazing sound and action for the price. Have had many friends, player's comment on sound of this guitar. recommend pro. setup, though.

I like this guitar. It has great tones and it projects well. There were/are some problems though. First the neck was a little bent so I went to adjust the truss rod and it was loose in the neck, kinda just rattling. I went to tighten it and it tightened about 2 turns and then sounded like it was going to break the neck in half so I stopped. Neck is almost straight now off just a hair or two (not willing to take a chance on breaking the neck by tightening it any more). 2nd is the fret work. I have never seen so much filler around around the inlays in my life. If you can get past its issues the rest is very nice. Nice finish, (I have the vintage sunburst) great sound and a solid spruce top. I also love the green tuners. Just a good quality inspection would have been nice. This really should have been a factory second but for the price I'll hang onto it. Not sure a replacement would be any better.

Epiphone offers the rest of us a quality guitar for an economic price.... I'm a family man with other things to do with my money than drop $1.200.00 on a guitar. Sure, I'd love to own a Gibson Hummingbird but, its just not gonna happen...So I got the Epiphone version. I'm VERY pleased with the choice. Solid construction, good looks and sweet tone. All that you'de expect from a drednaught guitar-boomin lows and a "polished" high register. Easy to play and a nice looking guitar. I own the cherry burst and its a bright, attractive guitar. The neck inlays are nice and the pickguard is a nice classic touch. I recomend changing the strings and bridge-pins. A professional set up has mine playing like a cloud. I fully recomend this guitar for the budget minded guitarist who looks for QUALITY and VALUE. Great job Epiphone.

I bought this guitar for my friends who stop by to have a few ,and play without bringing out my other guitars . If you don't have big strong hands this guitar needs a lot of setup. looks good plays tough.

I also thought the color was way brighter than the picture looks like but thats beside the point. This guitar sounds great! lowered the action quite a bit, and now is quite easy to play. If you are loking for a guitar for the campfire circle this is it. looks great and sounds great
