Tunes perfectly, solid as a rock, great action, playability and tone. Flawless finnish, I could not be happier! Oh wait! yes I could, in my opinion the stock pickup is weak and just could not keep up with the sweet ballsy tone of a real P90 so for like a hundred extra bucks I switched it out and tossed the H100 in the trash. The 57 Epi is now my main axe I even prefer it over my gibson SG. If you got an extra 2 grand get a gibson Jr if you don't this guitar is without a doubt a great subtitute!

I always loved les paul juniors and went into a local store to buy the cheap bolt on neck model that was on sale real cheap. I tried this 57 out first and then the bolt on model. After playing this one I couldn't get over how cheap the bolt on model felt and never got it. I couldnt get over the high quality of the 57 and ended up going in the next day and buying this one. I have been a guitar tech for years and know a quality piece when I see it. I just couldnt believe the quality of this one for the price. I took it home and did a major set up on it including fret level and it is now one of the best playing guitars I have seen in a long time. I'm not a big fan of stacked coil pickups like the p100, the dummy coil robs too much from the operative coil. I took the pickup apart and disconnected the dummy coil and put it on my volt meter for a check after. The coil is actually wound to a very hot 19+ kohm. It has a little hum now that it never had before but seemed less than a tele or strat. The guitar now sounds exceptional with an output as strong as any humbucker and not bad tone. With just a little tinkering you can make this guitar rival any expensive guitar. The grover tuners are exceptional and the guitar holds it tuner very well. I thought I might have to replace the bridge unit with an adjustable one but after restringing and setting up the rough intonation screws on either side of the bridge the harmonics are almost perfect using .009 strings. I wont bother changing the bridge now. I love this guitar and even without the mods it is a very good instrument, I don't think anything in that price range can beat it. Too bad their a limited addition, the parts may seem simple and bare to some but it does all I need and im not paying for extra pickups and controls etc., the money is going into great woodwork, all solid mahogany with a glued in neck. Great guitar!

If you have never played a Junior before your missing out on some great sound. I can get about any sound I want out of it including an acoustic sound plugged in to my Crate acoustic amp. I had the Epiphone Les Paul standard but sold it after I got this one and it was a really nice guitar. If you crave the single coil pickup sound but love the feel of a Les Paul this is your guitar. And at this small price how can you go wrong. The yellow looks so much better in person. I changed out the nut on mine to Tusq and put some black knobs on it and now I wouldn't change a thing on it and that includes the pickup. I had originally planned on putting a real P-90 in it but it doesn't need it and if you want a true single coil just disconnect the lower coil in the P-100. I've played both and I must say I would have to go with the noiseless P-100. You can not only get about any sound you want out of one of these but the sound is more in line with the Gibsons. You can get some real bite out of one of these and just roll back on the tone knob and you've got some nice creamy clean sounds. Build quality is by no means what a Gibson is but it is good enough to gig with and I see no reason it wouldn't hold up. Get one before they are gone!
