Heritage Cherry Sunburst Arctic Blue Vintage Sunburst Worn Cherry Ebony

The original idea for the Epiphone Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar was to create a somewhat lower-priced Paul by dispensing with some cosmetics. The result was an especially clean, handsome guitar with all the Les Paul essentials. Newly designed in 2004, the Studio now has a thicker body that matches its namesake, hot open-coil Alnico Classic humbuckers, a set mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and mahogany body with carved top. The LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and LockTone stopbar tailpiece add more sustain and make string changing easier. Limited lifetime warranty.

Very happy with this Epiphone Les Paul Studio in worn cherry. Guitar is light (for an LP), fit and finish is better than one would expect for a guitar in this price range. Tone is great but different than a Standard LP with maple top and poly finish; the Studio has a little less snap and a bit more resonance. Overall, a great value.

I ordered an Epi LPS a few weeks ago. While 5 strings played nice, the A string was buzzing (all the way up to the 12th fret), with no easy way to fix. I asked for an exchange, which I just got, where now both low E and A are buzzing. Did I just get unlucky, or do you other guys just not care about buzzing low strings? WIthout the buzz, it would be a neat guitar for the money.

This guitar I got for my birthday last year. It has failed me once but that was only a loose output jack which other people who have this guitar seem to share the problem. It's all one piece of solid wood, [the wood color guitar at least] and it's hard to believe that it was made in China. I have had an acoustic for a couple years but this guitar is amazing. Anyone looking for a cool guitar with that muddy Les Paul sound should get one.

My friend just bought this guitar about 4 weeks ago and brought it to my house. I laughed at him at first because he is a big fender man and I was supprized that he would actually go out and buy an Epiphone. When he plugged it in I just was blown away by the sound quality of this guitar. For the money this thing was a steal. He runs it through a fender 15 watt pract amp atm because his line 6 half stack is in the shop. But it had great tone and it stayed in tune for about 2 weeks. Its a great guitar the reason i put down the quality is because their was a small blemish on the paintjob on the headstock.

Good guitar for price

I got this guitar a few years back, have taken it gigging, beat it up, the likes. Thing is, it still works. Of course, like all guitars, it has its faults. For example, when using the pickup selector switch, when I switch it to the neck position, it dampens the volume and it doesn't come out "nice". Also, the factory strings aren't that great, but there's a simple solution: Ernie Ball slinkies. However, if you're a guitarist that's just starting out or you don't want to break the bank, this guitar will do. Nice cherry sunburst finish on mine too.
