OK finishes not so great

The sound of this guitar is ok and so is the action, my only issue was the finishes. very sloppy job and disappointing. It looks like a five year old did the neck finish. the amp is also pretty horrible. If you want this as you first electric be prepared to get a new one if you get into music. If you want a new electric my advice put forth the extra money and get a better electric The epiphone les paul special II is ok and is ok for playing and learning songs but not the best

I have a question i got this package and when they sent me the guitar it wasnt the same color as the one in the pic it was more of a dark orange color, kinda like a tobacco color, did this happen to anyone else, i really wanted the vintage sunburst look, and thats what i asked for but its not what i received but anyways i was just wondering if anyone else got that color?

So my dad bought this guitar for me about 7 years ago and i was so excited. The amp is crap but still in use and the strap broke the first day i got it. In value packs like that your really buying the guitar so its no big deal. The guitar has held up without a hitch!!! It plays just like its GIBSON counterpart and has amazing tone for a beginner axe. I recommend this guitar for any nube or experienced musician looking for a great deal!!!!!!!

Alright. I'm gonna review this amp...

Alright. I'm gonna review this amp piece by piece.

The Guitar: *Basswood body. *Bolted on Mahogany Neck. *Rosewood fretboard with 22 frets. * 700T Bridge pickup, 650R Neck pickup. *Stock Epiphone Tuning pegs *Master Volume, Master Tone, and three way Switch. The Good: *It's a striped down rocker! It's good to start on, and it won't let you down. I don't like the pickups as much as others, but hey. It's a beginner's guitar. You can get a metal tone out of the bridge when you scoop the mids, and the neck pickup sings beautifully. I wish it had at least another volume on it, though. Pretty thin little neck compared to other Pauls. The Bad: Bolt on neck feels a bit cheaper, and the fact that I'm pretty sure that there's more polyurethane than guitar is a big turn off, but not that severe.

The Amp: *Gain w/boost. *Volume. *Bass, Middle, And Treble knobs. The Good: Easy and simple. Good for learning to dial in tones. High Gain when cranked.

The Bad: The input jack fails. Within the first six months. It'll start to cut out, and it will aggervate you to the point of wanting to throw it out the window! It also has a bit of hum to it, but that probably comes from the other electronics I have in my room. Moving it to its own own outlet helps a lot.

The Bottom Line: Good to start on, or if you just need a bang around guitar. I personally would shoot for a better amp once you get the money, but that's just preference.

Any questions just shoot me an email.
