I bought this guitar because I wanted a white guitar. I put new strings on it right out of the box and for the ptice it plays great. I,ve never played the higher end epiphones or the gibsons , but this guitar is very nice . I had a friend at work order one after he played mine. The tone and 3-way switch work great. It's an great guitar for a beginer or a 30 year veteran player. Buy it and have fun.

Grounding problem

I bought this guitar in a lefty two and a half years ago from Musiciansfriend. The necks a bit wide for me but otherwise it's a nice handling guitar. The pickups are a bit muddy sounding but really kick on my Behringer Vtone and Behringer Veratube with twin Texas Heat speakers. However, a little over a year after getting it, it developed some sort of short, I thought it was the input but it eventually got to the point where I had to hold my pinky on the pickup (mine has chrome covers)and the heal of my hand on the bridge to ground out the loud buzz. I took all the electronics out but found no broken wires or solder. Replaced the input jack but that didn't help. Finally fixed it by running an extra ground wire from one pickup to the ground on the input. It sounds new again.

I'm not the best guitarist in the world but i know what a good guitar is. i bought this guitar used off ebay and it sounds great, the humbuckers give a clean sound. but the tuners are the only real problem, the thing won't stay in tune. i suggest replacing the cheap tuners that comes on this with grovers.
