This Epiphone Casino is a historical collection model inspired by John Lennon's 1965 Casino electric guitar he used on most Beatles recording sessions until "The White Album and Let It Be sessions. It has all the classic appointments and hardware including a double-cutaway hollowbody, Tribute P-90 pickups, parallelogram fingerboard inlays, vintage tuners with small buttons, and a trapeze tailpiece.

A Fair Priced Lennon Recreation

This is a great guitar! I own many Gibsons and this Casino puts most of them to shame. The Gibson USA Tribute P90's is a welcome addition. I play it out of a Vox AC30 and it recreates those Beatles tones perfectly. It is very light weight and even sounds great unplugged. Anyone who is a Beatles fan and doesn't want to put out the money for the actual Revolution, or 1965 models can't go wrong with this Inspired By John Lennon guitar. You won't be disappointed.

Sunburst color is disappointing

The guitar is over all nice but I am disappointed that all this is is the same cheap Asian built Casino as the regular Casino but with a couple John Lennon details added. The sunburst color is wrong being way to dark with barely any red in it which as a collector I really was looking for. The color on this goes from black to yellow without the red in the middle which looked so nice on the Casino John Lennon had. I will probably return this guitar and just stick with my regular Casino because even though it does not have the John Lennon name on it they did manage to get the color more correct. If you want the John Lennon name and his signature than this is the cheapest guitar you will find with John Lennons name on it.
