This back in black menace definitely sends a message even before you start playing it. The Epiphone Goth G-400 Electric Guitar is a twisted version of the Gibson '62 SG with solid mahogany body and slim-tapered set mahogany neck. The rosewood fingerboard has a VII inlay at the 12th fret and the headstock is highlighted with a Celtic cross. The deep SG styled double-cutaways let you reach all 22 frets with ease. Separate volume and tone controls for each of the open-coil high-output Alnico V humbuckers give you complete control of your sound. The Goth G-400 is bathed in a satin black finish and sports black-chrome hardware. The LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and LockTone stopbar tailpiece add more sustain and make string changing easier. Limited lifetime warranty.

I played this guitar at a local guitar shop in town today. I plugged it into a Line 6 Spider IV and shredded away. It was perfect. It sounds great in Drop D and Standard. I'm used to playing my Japanese Strat, and this guitar blew it out of the water. For the price it doesn't get any better than this.

i've had my eye on this guitar since it came out have have never seen one at a local shop untill today. despite the fact it was used it still played great. action was nice and low but no fret buzz at all. pickups are decent, but would upgrade to some duncans personally. it feels better than any other sg i've ever played. sounds better, too. i'm definitely gettin one of these!!

For the price you can't go wrong. I loved this thing right out of the box! It has a great look and a great feel to it. The neck is a bit thinner which I really like. The Grover tuners are sure to keep you in tune. The guitar itself is also super light. I found the pick ups to be a bit plain for my tastes so I replaced them with some EMG's and now this thing really jams. For the price, you just can't go wrong!

I got this guitar for my birthday. I've always wanted an sg and I found out why. I basically love this guitar haha. It sounds super nice on cleaner channels and fricken hot when you put distortion on. I play it through a grunge pedal.
