i just bought this guitar two weeks ago and it's INCREDIBLE. i got the cherry and it's a little more red than they show in the picture (and more red than the gibson SG). the sound and feel aren't the same as the gibson SG but hey it's an eight of the price! there is absolutley no pickup buzz and the sound is incredible clean! (clean and distorted it's still clean) it's great for heavy metal/power metal, rock and roll, hard rock, etc. it;s just not good for blues. so go out right now and buy this guitar!!!! it ROCKS!!!!

This guitar plays great, the pickups have a nice high output. I've owned it for about five years now and have had a great experience with it! My dad owns a gibson les paul standard and a marshall JCM 800 full stack so I know what a professional set up is. Trust me this guitar is great, only problem I've ever had with it was my friend stuck it up in a sealing fan and put a mark on the headstock and screwed up a tuner. Great guitar otherwise!

After purchasing an Epiphone SG Special Electric Guitar and All Access Amp Pack for my girlfriend to learn how to play. I bought one one of these to show her how, due to my other guitar being set-up in drop C. For the bones I considered this a throw way guitar, but I can't seem to put it down. The action is just sweetness! stays in tune great! looks killer! versatile on the PU's! Can't beat it for the $$$$$$!!! I'm really considering dropping in some new PUPS and making this my Go to.

ive had this guitar for about eight months and its great,no buzzes, no electric problames and stays in tune greate. the pickups are HOT, and i like that. it also provides extremely easy accses to the top fret wich means it is very easy to play some mean solos on it. i play mine through a peavy vyper amp and with that it sound great

I bought this guitar for my son 4 months ago and after two professional setups, this piece of crap still won't stay in tune and buzzes like a drunken fly caught in a window sill (mostly the low E and A strings). For the bucks I expected a mid-grade instrument that was way above the "learner" quality guitars out there but that's not the case. This is nothing more than a Walmart guitar! Save your money and avoid this Epihoney!! Shame on you Gibson!
