I bought this guitar awhile ago, wanting a SG guitar that looks good and sounds great (not to mention the low price). I got just what I wanted. The action/truss rod needed to be adjusted when I got it, after adjusting it was just wonderful.

This guitar is amazing i have nothing bad to say about it. Just an all around great guitar. To the guys at Epiphone great job. Amazing very fast neck you get good quality strings with an amazing bridge the pick ups rock be sure to have all the nobs cranked to ten though. I go from E to drop D alot and it handles it quite well. You are not wasting your money when you buy this guitar.

Purchased this guitar with a MF case. When the guitar and case arrived, I opened it and looked the guitar over. The nut was almost a 1/4 inch higher at the little E than at the big E. The pickguard was also raised at the back about an 1/8 inch. The fretboard was filthy and appeared to be used. Sent it back. Unfortunately, inspection of other G400's at the local GC were similiar. I can't believe someone in the US is inspecting these.

This is a great guitar for anyone who loves the SG looks and is on a lower budget. It plays great, and looks great. It could use some better pickups rather than the stock, but its still good. I put an EMG 81/85 combo in mine and it sounds amazing I definetely recommend those. So if you want a great guitar with no tremolo, this is for you.
