Damm Good Buy

Plays great right out of the box. Always wanted an Explorer and at half the price of the Gibson, you can't go wrong. Floyd Rose takes more time to tune the first time, but you learn to work with it and you can fine tune it easy enough.

This guitar is fairly good the pickups sound amazing especially the neck. But the floyd is practilly useless because you can't pull up on it. The heel on the neck is terrible, I have short fingers but when I'm standing up I can't even reach past the 19 fret on the high e string let alone go to a lower string. Other than that this guitar is almost worth it.

Great Guitar

Don't let anybody tell you this guitar's no good. I got this guitar about 9 months ago. It's a GREAT guitar, but it's got a few drawbacks. It's beautiful, it's got a fast neck, and the locking system works. But what makes it annoying is the fact that it takes about 10 minutes to tune from one tuning to another because when you clamp down the locks on the neck the guitar goes out of whack and the strings never stay in place, so getting it to stay in tuning takes forever. Other than that, the only fault I can find in this guitar is that it's only got one tone knob. I'd really love to have two for more sweet sounding tones but whatever. This guitar is near perfect, but I recommend getting it without the locking system unless you plan on sticking to one tuning or love soloing with the whammy bar.

sounds great, but is falling apart on me. First the upper strap peg fell out, which wasnt horrible cause i hated the location anyway, should have been behind the neck, which is where i moved it to which was stupid and voided the warrenty for when the bridge pegs pulled out (oh and the trem spring plate screws pulled out of the wood too they were apparently installed bent)

When I first picked up this guitar I fell in love with it. This is now my main guitar and I find it hard to keep my hands off it. There were a few minor problems with some loose parts but they tightened up fine. I would advise getting new straplocks though just because the ones it comes with are'nt the most trust worthy.
