bought mine through a local dealer because the reviews about uneven quality and set up were a red flag. Sounded great at first and then the first 3 strings started to go dead from the 8th-14 frets. Turns out the wood was drying in the arid Colorado climate and the plastic saddle was digging into the bridge. My tech replaced w/ a bone saddle and no problems since. Very playable with warm tone, clean sound when amped up. Long headstock makes for a tight fit into a standard gigbag.

Was a good guitar for two months. Frets began to pop out neck twisted like a congressman. Nothing but a disappointment and embarrassment. A BEATLE fan from the start , this products demonstrates that THE DREAM IS OVER WHAT CAN I SAY.

The Epi J160E is a solid, reliable stage instrument. Great acoustic tone and and good tone from the Mini Humbucker (If you put nickel strings on it...bronze or phosphor bronze will make the pickup sound weak and distant).

I really like this guitar, it is by far my favorite. I got it about two years ago as a graduation present and it is my favorite guitar. I have a total of 6 guitars 3 of which are epiphone's and out of all of them, this is my favorite guitar. I like the neck size and definitely love the look and the pickup. I recommend this to beginners and pros alike.

Could not tighten input jack had to remove interior nut mismatched to exterior nut jack kept falling into guitar. Buzzing like crazy low e 1st 2 frets open buzzing all over the place when played. High e string fretting out no sound frets 12 thru 15 terrible sound throughout string practically sitting on frets. Dissapointed with this guitar for shipping this new guitar without proper set up. There is a sticker on the backside of headstock above tunners which says 100 percent inspected and set up in the usa by 5. I know along with the guitar tech that this claim is not true. Picked up guitar today and paid 70.00 for set up and frets were milled and reshapped the bridge. Sounds good now and have re evaluated product rating from worse all catagories to slightly better now. I will never order from here again.
