This Epiphone Dot is a fascinating instrument. Holding it for the first time may be a little strange considering the size of the corpus. But after a short time inspirational comfort is dominant. The neck is Gibson no doubt, probably not as fast as some Fenders for some. But to me it is a perfect instrument for Blues and such. Mine is made in Indonesia. Versatility is almost endless. This guitar in a class of it`s own.

I received my epiphone dot for Christmas 2008,and have been very happy with it. It is the perfect guitar for anyone and I recommend it. Be sure to get the natural finish. If your a huge beatles fan like me, you will notice how much it looks like John Lennon's Epiphone Casino in the Revolution music video.

Within the last few weeks I've had a good deal of trouble with my Dot. Switching between the pickups can render it getting stuck even when it's in position. It wont go into or stay in tune even with locking tuners. D, sometimes G, B, and high E are muffled or sometimes dead. And yes, I made sure it was not the amp, I played it through other amps with the same result and the plug in is fine. Not all aspects were bad. I used it for recording and band related things and it was a very nice guitar. It played and felt well, now it's pretty much scenery.
