I received this guitar as a birthday present from my wife. The first thing I noticed was how beautiful the thing looked. Then I played it. It has a great sound plugged or unplugged. I am very pleased and would recommend this guitar to anyone looking for good sound, looks and price.

The electronics are kind of a hit or miss though. Mine have fallen out after about a year, probably an easy fix, but still.

Otherwise, it has great tone, a little on the high end but not tinny or annoying at all. Just bright. great action, looks decent.

I have had this guitar for 3 months and it is the most amazing thing EVER. i went down to my local music store yesterday and tried the SOLID TOP guitars they had and all paled in comparison to this beauty, they didn't have the tone, the features the aesthetics...they had nothing on the dr200 the only problem is that the finish was slightly flawed (dents around the bridge) and the preamp buzzez in it's slot sometimes but it's not loud enough to affect anything (this guitar is uber loud by the way).

I've had my Epiphone DR-200CE Acoustic-Electric Guitar for about six months. As an acoustic guitar, I like it very much. It looks great, is fairly easy to play and has a nice tone. The electronics suck. The input jack was defective and it eats batteries too fast. The tone is twangy and cheesy unless everything but the lo freqs are turned down. It's even worse with the phase switch. If you fool around with the controls enough it can sound acceptable, but it sounds better with a mic that it does DE. It's a shame that Epi dropped the ball on the electronics because the guitar is otherwise very nice.

I bought this guitar looking for a low priced acoustic electric for leading worship. It has certainly surpassed my expectations. It is definitely not a Taylor or Martin, but for the price it cannot be beat. Mine stays in tune very well which marks it high on my list. The sound quality isn't the best buy for the price, its a definite buy.
