1 year later - Still a fantastic deal

I purchased this about a year ago and it's still my goto guitar. Great sound, feels perfect. I agree with most the stereo jacks are awesome especially when run thru Line6 x3 live. With two inputs and dual paths on the x3 the sounds are unbelievable.. Only complaint is that it didn't come with a case. Other than that...I'd buy this beauty again and again.

I have been playing 20 years and own 2 Strats, a Les Paul and a Hagstrom Viking. I originally went shopping for a Telecaster and came home with Lucille. This guitar has a build quality that I would rate B+ but the sounds this baby can create are incredible. You can make this guitar sound like a strat or a 335 or anything in between with a little tweak of the controls. Action is good and the finish is deep ebony with gold hardwear (that honestly I could live without) Deep resonance from the maple semi hollow is almost like reverb. Buy this guitar! I swore I would never buy an Epiphone! I swore I was always gonna be a Fender guy! Happily I've had to eat those words. I love Lucille!

My Dream!

I got this guitar as an early college graduation gift from the parentals! It has been THE guitar I wanted since I started playing. I have been nothing but impressed with it!

The tone is amazing! You can make just about any sound come out of it. I play in the Praise Band at my church and all the musicians noticed a HUGE difference when I first plugged in.

The stereo output option is an awesome feature. I have a FX board and it sounds great through it. She deffinately catches the eye as well. I love her and wouldn't have another guitar!

This has to be one of the sweetest guitars I've received. Epiphone is continuing to put out nice quality guitars at an affordable price for non-pro's and pro's alike. Everyone will have a pro or con to a brand, die-hards to Fender, Gibson, etc. I personally look for sound, feel, and how well they hold up, don't care about the brand. Heck, Petty's Mike Campbell comes up with some variations and look what he can do. That said, I also own a Sheraton II and would never part with it. This are wonderful selling guitars and for a wonderful price. You should be disappointed. I've had top end guitars that I'd match the Epi line with and have lasted an eternity. I also had BB King himself sign the Lucille which is now in a showcase in my music room with his signed photo. At 83 yrs, he may not be with us much longer I'm sad to say. But for now, try to see him if you can. He's a great show.

Feels Great

I was on a search for a real-deal Gibson ES-335 but I couldn't find one I liked in the color I liked, etc. So just for kicks I tried this Epi Lucille out and ended up buying it. A good feel is very important to me and it feels great. It just fits my hands, I knew it from the first note I played on that thang - it was coming home with me.
