bought this pedal cause i needed a boost. i have multiple overdrive and distortion pedals and no matter where i put this pedal on my board it sounded HORRIBLE with distortion, and it didnt even give me that much of a boost. the only time i could get a fat boost was when i was playin super clean stuff and then still it just seemed like a bass boost. i could never see anyone using this pedal for anything.

Great pedal to have! Adds a nice boost to your level (especially the bass for me, but that's what I'm playing so that might have something to do with it) and gives your sound a little bit of grit. The casing is sturdy as ever, never had problems with it and I stomp rather hard. For only the money this is something that everyone should have in there stack.

This a great boost, especially for the money. It really encourages playing with your guitar's volume knob to get different sounds, which is the way I play. This is the only pedal I brought to my last gig. If you want your amp's sound, but pushed harder or simply louder, then this is what you're looking for.
