Great pedal to have! Adds a nice boost to your level (especially the bass for me, but that's what I'm playing so that might have something to do with it) and gives your sound a little bit of grit. The casing is sturdy as ever, never had problems with it and I stomp rather hard. For only the money this is something that everyone should have in there stack.

This a great boost, especially for the money. It really encourages playing with your guitar's volume knob to get different sounds, which is the way I play. This is the only pedal I brought to my last gig. If you want your amp's sound, but pushed harder or simply louder, then this is what you're looking for.

The LPB1 is what a pedal should be - easy, simple, cheap, and great. At it's heart, it's simply a boost pedal, but it really accents the nuances in the sound of your setup. Even when using a 1985 Ibanez PL1440RC electric guitar, through a Digitech Bad Monkey OD pedal, into a junktastic Crate XT30RC, you can push some really nice overdrive tones. Into a Crate V18-112 (which I plan on buying soon), it transforms the tubes from "bassy gain" to "pure crunch." This thing also doubles as an awesome gain boost pedal, pulling a lot more sustain out of the guitar, especially if you're using single coils. To top things off, it's packaged tightly into your standard metal EH pedal with a pleasantly stiff switch. It's also small and super-simple, since one knob does the trick. And since similar pedals cost over 100.... You do the math.

Like the overdrive or clean sound from your amp and don't want to color your tone with "digital processing"? Take the LPB1 for a spin. Go buy it.
