Little Big Muff puts this legendary distortion/sustainer in a more compact and rugged die-cast box, but the sound is true to the 1970 original-silky smooth violin-like sustain that lets you hold a note for an entire set. Sustain, Tone, and Volume knobs.

Order the Little Big Muff and experience the legendary Muff sound.

i've played both little and original big muffs. the sound awsome for a fuzzbox. price gets me lil bit but i dont care, lil big muff sounds perfect,i was using a 7 string ibanez with it and its sounds just like korn.reason being, korn uses them.playing classic rock, alternative, even Nu Metal its the one box to use.

If your buying this because you are under the impression the only differences are size and price, dont. This pedal sounds smaller than a Big Muff and does not sound like something exploded when engaged like the real one does. I own several vintage and new Big Muff pedals and this one just doesnt sound right to me.I mean everyone has their own opinion, but in mine, spend the extra money and get one of the regular Big Muffs.

Used my Little Big Muff for the first time gigging this weekend. I have been in an endless search for "just the right" fuzz/distortion tone and finally found it! There is a nice blend of fuzz and distortion with the settings I selected. The sustain is endless! On songs where I would let a chord or note decay away naturally I needed to roll off the volume. Love it! I have always had a fuzz, overdrive and distortion on my board and I believe I could get away with only the Big Muff and Route 66 and free up a little board space. Oh and talk about nailing post Fuzz Face Gilmour sounds!!!

Don't let the word "Little" fool you; you're getting the same pedal as the Big Muff for less money and more space on your pedalboard. Now, I personally like playing this with tone and sustain cranked; I get great Jeff Beck/J Mascis/Mick Ronson tones. However, like many other reviewers have said, it's a fuzzbox, not a distortion pedal. If you're looking for versatility, this probably shouldn't be your only distortion/overdrive pedal. But still, if you like grunge or 60's garage or just good old-fashioned rock 'n' roll, the Little Big Muff is the pedal for you!

Great fuzz. I debated over the Boss distortion and this pedal. This pedal just had that sound that clicked with my personality. It took me a while to figure out some of my own signature settings, but when I did I was blown away. I play a single coil Strat. I'd like to try this with the Ibanez JTK. It doesn't give you that crunch for that bright metal sound like Metallica but I hate that sound anyway. So if you want to hear those lame, excessive pinch harmonics, this isn't for you.
