Monophonic synth, and over the top distortion

This pedal is pretty awesome. I have achieved the most over the top lead synth sounds, and crazy octave distortion sounds. The gain pot on the back sort of complicates matters for those who wish to have "true bypass" I just always left it on and cut it out of my chain with a boss ls2. A delay pedal is a complete necessity with this thing. It sounds incredibly dirty and dry without it if you are using bowed sounds. All in all this pedal is pretty good if your looking to get synth style tones from your guitar.

The most powerful analog pedal out there

This pedal is nothing short of amazing. The amount of sounds you can get out of this one box with ten faders is nothing short of astonishing. If you want your guitar to sound like a Moog, this is the best way to do it. All analog, very gritty, makes your guitar sound like it's covered in hair. Highly recommended!

Fun Pedal

The EHX Micro Synthesizer was my first pedal, and I really like it. I can say that it will be a staple on my pedal board for years to come. Once you get to know it, and harness its features, you will be able to create a lot of new original sounds that would be hard to get with other products. This pedal is probably not for those who generally aren't crazy about expanding their sound, however for those who love making sounds of any sort, this is the pedal for you. If you can afford a bunch of the Moogerfooger pedals, get those instead, because those are going to let you do much, much more but those cost a lot of money. Though I really like this pedal, if it got stolen, I'd probably buy a Line 6 FM4 Filter Modeler. I can't directly compare the two though because I only own the Micro Synth. Great tool and really fun for whatever you need it for.

ok so i got this pedal and the controls arent really hard to use i dont know why every one is saying that i mean if you learned how to play a guitar you can handle like 10 controls i hope. but this pedal is SO worth it! it does things i would never construe from the small demo the only thing that sucks is that you can only play one string at a time if you want to play chords you have to lower the strength of whatever effect to literally inaudible levels other than that i meen it's so freaken good for absolutely everything you can ask for, it's double the price of your average pedal but it's worth four -hero

Great if you can't afford the roland

There is not much to say, I mean it does what it promises, however I do agree the controls area little tough but it is worth it. Unless you can afford the Roland synth this is your best bet.
