This is a really good simple pedal and it depends alot on how you play.I have yet to figure out all it can do but for the most part for the price and the quality of it you can't beat Doctor Q.

I bought this pedal recently, and I really like it now. I have a lot of effects (DD-3, DS-1, MD-2, TR-1, PH-3, wah) and this pedal fit right into my collection. I usually put it at the tail end of my effects chain.

The effect is very subtle, but I like it a lot. I like to use it to sort of muffle my signal. I'll be playing with a hard distortion tone, and when I hit the DR.Q it muffles the sound and lowers the volume, sort of sounds like on the radio.

It's also very good for when you are in a funky sort of mood. I like to turn the knob to a little less than halfway from the right, with bass switch off, and then play on the high strings.

The case kind of scared me at first when I saw it because I thought it wouldn't hold up, but it has. I did modify it a little bit. I switched the knob out for a strat tone knob (I like the number reference) and I pulled off all of the rubber pads from the bottom and replaced the battery cover with tape so I could velcro it for use with a pedal board.

Over all I am satisfied with this pedal. It does take a little bit of playing with to figure out how to use it though. But once you get a feel for how it works, it is a fun pedal to use.

I would definitely reccomend this pedal!

I bought one of these a few years back trying to get down with my bad self and get some funk in my guitar playing. However, this pedal is pretty weak. If you have it on the bass setting, the effect is negligible. If you have if off the bass, the volume is cut about in half and the noise is almost unbearable. However, the wikki wikki wakka don't stoppa if you don't care about 60-cycle hum or having to adjust volume.

its an alright envelope follower pedal, i tried out the digitech synth wah's "env. up" feature, an dit sounded great, but when i got this it sounded nothing like the digitech. this pedal's effect is pretty hard to hear, and its not very rich sounding. the bass switch, when switched up, it makes the tone very thin and alot quieter, and when the switch is down, it sound normal loud wit the same effect as tth up position. it takes some fooling around with to figure how to get it just right. i would rather have bought the DOD F25B filter, because it has more controls on it and sounds like it would be a better effect for a filter pedal. but whatever this pedal can make sound funky licks.

well.. its not the best envelope filter in the world. you can only hear the effects that this thing makes when your amp is realy loud (its good for live gigs). i dunno.. for me, DOD and DigiTech makes the best envelpoe filters. buy those instead and save a few bucks
