Beats anything in this price range

I got one of these a few months ago after buying a Peavey valveking head for cheap from a friend of mine. This suits it perfectly, I've tried the head with different cabs and heard many other people run it through different cabs and you just cant get the same sound out of anything else. I sold my distortion pedals because I don't even need them anymore, the distortion channel on the peavey sounds great through this. Yea it is very heavy, going up and down stairs is a hazard. But the shopping cart size caster wheels it comes with come in handy. I also like that I can choose between 16, 8, and 4 ohms.

Pros: The specs on this thing contrasted to the price are to die for. You could buy some more well-known name brand or boutique cab used for way more. As a matter of fact I was looking at an engl cab for $1250 before I found this thing. Literally the only difference in specs between the two were 40 watts in favor the the Egnater (probably a manufacturer bias, but who cares, we know where the speakers came from.) and the word "siberian" followed by birch, folded a million times. To me, birch is birch, if it's gonna cost an extra 650$ to fold it 13 more times then I'm sorry, but you lose my bid. Other pros: I mean honestly read the specs. like I said before, you can find the same setup in a cab made by mesa or engl but why pay twice the price, seriously? I mean seriously? cause they're exactly the same thing. Perhaps there's some slight difference in the durability of the higher end cabs, but now that I own one of these things I can say in regards to it, I hold no regrets in purchasing it. The speaker box itself appears to be assembled quite generically with no particular pros or cons. It sounds exactly as I wished it to sound, and the ONLY thing if ANYTHING I can complain about is... Cons: It's heavy... Really heavy... Also it's brown. If they made a solid black one I would've bought it instead, however, even that is no big deal to me.

All things considered, I'm telling you buy this cab for the speakers alone. The added bonus of a quality birch cabinet is your choice.

I recently purchased this cab , I was nervous because I've never heard of it before, I mean I tryed it out before I purchased it of course. But anyways, I play a mesa dual rec through it, and it sounds amazing, I get more than enough low end on it, and the overall tone of it it great, I love the 30s in it, and i also love the look. Its a little heavy, but thats alright. I would recommend this cab to anyone.

Yeah I dont know what they were think pricing this so low, its an amazing cabinet with the highest quality speakers and construction, they could have priced this several hundred dollars more and it would still have been competitive with other makers. That the thing about bruce egnater, i think he really wanted to provide quality equipment at a low price. So much of the entry level stuff on the market is over priced and low quality, i'm a professional guitar player I play mostly vintage and discontinued equipment that are known for quality and reliability, i rarely buy new models when they come out but this Egnater line is top notch, and this cabinet is the real deal.

This cabinet is amazing. I use it with my vox ad100vth head and the thing just roars. I tested the amp out with at least a dozen different cabs until I finally tried this one. It has more low end responce than any other cab I tried. The cleans are natural and the distortion have amazing tone through the Eganter cab. The only downside to this cab is the weight. Tt's this birch construction is a hassle for someone like me who plays regular shows and has to carry this thing around. But overall this cab is just great.
