The Egnater Rebel-30 112 Tube Combo Amp offers 30W of all-tube sonic power from 2-channels. The Rebel-30 amp features Egnater's unique TUBE MIX knob, giving you access to an incredible variety of tones, from American to British and all points in between. Channel 1 delivers rich cleans with controls for volume, treble and bass. Channel 2 dishes out powerful, touch-responsive overdrive with treble, middle and bass EQ, as well as a wide-range gain knob that takes you from growl to scream. Both channels feature Egnater's signature BRIGHT and TIGHT switches and each channel has its own WATTS knob so you can access both low-wattage crunch and serious clean headroom, or any combination you choose.

The Egnater Rebel-30 tube amp's specially designed and easily accessible back panel holds more welcome surprises such as independent reverb controls for each channel and a tone-preserving series effects loop. A speaker-emulated line out lets you go directly to the board live or in the studio. Set the standby switch to Silent Record for great direct-recorded tones that spare both your ears and your neighbors'. Went to my local Guitar Center to look for a good, versitle low-wattage tube amp to use in my cover band. I compared this amp side by side with a Bogner Alchemist and actually ended up walking out with the Bogner. However after a week of playing on the Bogner I was dissappointed with its tone at higher volumes.

Took the Bogner back and tried this little amp again, but at a higer volume and lower wattage (about 10w or so). All I can say is WOW...just a little more volume made this amp come alive, and the great thing was that it really wasn't all that much louder than when I tried it the first time!

The features on this amp make it incredibly versitle. I use an Ibanez loaded with Dimarzio's and a Les Paul with an EMG 81/85 combo. I run my delay though the fx loop and toss a cry baby and MXR Wylde overdrive though the front. In all gear combinations it sounds great.

The cleans are prestine, but you will need to tweak the overdrive to your taste. I found that if you crank the gain all the way up the sound gets a little muddy, but if you back it off to about 3 o'clock it really tightens up. If you add a little more wattage it will continue to tighten, back off the wattage and the distortion becomes more spongy.

Overall one of the best amps on the market! Very satisfied.

have had the amp for about 2 weeks now.. have already gigged with it a bunch, nothing wrong so far! variable wattage is pretty nice, but once cranked can really be heard above everybody else! lacking the mid-control on the clean channel, beware humbucker users you might get a tad too many mids, but there's ways around it i've found.. have used it for r&b, singer/songwriter, funk, rock.. sounds quite clear.. overall a great sounding amp, very versatile.. the lows get a little muddy with distortion..

I've had this amp for four days now and can't stop playing it. The feature set (adjustable watts, blendable power tubes, tight & bright switches) is broad enough to allow a tremendous amount of tone shaping without being overwhelming. I wish the reverb was true spring reverb rather than digital, but that's a small gripe. I'm having a blast dialing it in to find "my tone."
