I was looking for a new guitar to add to my collection a while back and layed my eyes on this in a local music shop. I was optomistic at first cause i had heard good and bad stories about ESP LTD guitars. I plugged it in into a small Vox practice amp. The sound blew me away. I immediatly placed an order for a brand new one (in see through black of course:). When it came in the mail I was expecting a major set up job in the future, but to my suprise the guitar came set up pretty nicely. The coil tapping is a cool feature but as for the "Floyed Rose" not so much. it works just fine but there are some wierd rattles and scratching. Overall the guitar is great. Sure there are better ESP's out there but for the price I highly recomend this guitar.

i bought this guitar anout a month ago and i love my teacher told me it was a great guitar and it sounds great. the features are amazing the coil tapping works really well and allows you to get a screaming distortion the humbuckers are also amazing. i tuned this guitar once when i got and only make minor adjustments every week or so and i use the whammy bar alot. It sounds great, stays in tune, and has great features i would reccomend this guitar to any player

I bought an older version of this guitar which has the esp passives instead of the hz's but everything else is exactly the same. I originally purchased this instrument for the sustain becusae it was a neckthrough, but not realizing that the wings were made of agathis, I made a dumb buy. Another couple things with this guitar I am not a fan of was the pick ups and licensed trem. I swapped the pickups for Duncan Blackouts and the trem for a Schaller. Onto other and better things, the play is amazing I love the finish and the frets, very decent quality work for being made in Thailand. This is a decent neckthrough guitar for cheap but don't buy it if ultimate sustain is what you're looking for. If that's what you're looking for in a guitar look for mahagany and or ash.

Wow, great guitar for the money. The bridge pick up sounds awesome and the neck is blazingly fast. After some initial string stretching, it stays in tune nicely. The guitar looks great and it plays as good too. I hope it is durable also, because I cant put it down. Would absolutely recommend one.

I bought this guitar a while back. Since then I've put a lot of use on this guitar so I can give and honest, accurate rating to this insturment.

I was disappointed in the wood type. This guitar has Agaithis wings on it, and any guitarist who has half his wits knows agaithis is completely unresonant and cheap. Thats one of two complaints I have. The other is the Floyd, but for the price, what would you expect? The Floyd is cheap. Even when perfectly balanced and oiled it squeaks and rattles. It DOES stay in tune though... One of my pleasures was the neck. Its a really good neck, nice and thin with neck-thru construction. The fretwork is good, still is. Eventually the pickups had to come out, but the stock ones were ok. The coil tap is fun. I use a Krank Rev head with two cabs underneath it. I know, thats a lot of power, and this guitar can handle that if you know how to work it. It sounds decent, its built decently, I have complaints about the wood and trem, but ultimately you get what you pay for here and I believe this guitar will stay with me for a long time.
