I have owned it for a about a year and it is great. For metal music it blows away anything I have ever played. The seventh string is great for the players like me that are always switching between drop D and E tuning. Stays in tune nicely, and I can say the only thing that I don't love about it is that at the start of my playing my pick it the pickups. Great value, worth the money.

Bow to the Baritone

This guitar is absolutely awesome. The baritone neck has allowed me to Tune down to F# with ease so I can get the Gallactic Low that bands like Meshuggah have. The neck thru design that ESP/LTD has perfected is second to none. Its a bit on the heavy side but the weight compliments the tone very nicely. I decided to switch out my EMGs for Seymour Duncan Blackouts even though the EMGs were pretty damn good. I love the non trem bridge aswell cause anyone who has owned a Floyd Rose knows how much of a chore it is to re-string and tune. I cant wait to get my grip on the New ESP SRC 8 string.

I bought this guitar because I wanted a 7 string and I had heard good things about this one. I have never owned a 7 before this. It is easy to play if you are used to a 6. The action is low and just feels like you are cutting through butter. The hardware on this guitar is very good and rivals the hardware of more expensive guitars. I love this guitar and can't wait to get home and play it. I have 2 complaints about it but it's not enough to make me not like it. First, I don't like the middle pickup in the position it's in. That is where I pick and I'm constantly hitting it. The other thing is the EMG pickups. They sound great for heavy music and have great sustain but if you want to play more percussive, "funk type stuff on the high end, they are too responsive and bright and hurt my ears. The guitar is great and I'm really enjoying it but keep those factors in mind.

I bought this guitar because I was looking for something very heavy on the bottom end than my Suhr classic. I was not overly impressed with the Ibanez seven strings so I went with the ESP LTD, they are made in Korea not Japan like good Ibanez 7 strings but the quality and workmanship is clearly obvious when you pick it up and plug it in, set neck, carved top, bound fretboard, jumbo frets, not to mention top of the line hardware, Tone Pros bridge, EMGs' etc. These Korean guitars have really come far, don't let the LTD label fool you. when I saw Lacuna coil at Ozzfest playing these same guitars I was blown away with the look, sound, clear tight bottom end without sounding muddy, very clear and articulate all around, clean or distorted. Also very natural to play when transitioning from 6 strings, when you crank this guitar it really wails! I couldn't be more happy with how good it looks, how versatile it is and how excellent it sounds. I'm glad I bought it, great guitar! great price! try it, you won't regret it. I can't say enough about this guitar now that I own it. Just what I was looking for.

This guitar is NASTY!!! I finally found a decent 7 string w/o a whammy bar. If you're looking for something like that.....look no further. I got the gloss natural, and it looks very awesome.
