The ESP LTD MH-400NT Electric Guitar is the perfect axe for high-powered rock and the guitarist who wants maximum sustain and no trem. I bought this guitar a couple of years ago and I have loved it since, I play various types of metal and genres like that. The EMG's sound great for music that requires high gain. The body is a great and the cutaway makes your leg sit in between the two pickups where as the EC100 will sit a lot further forward so your leg sits around the 16th fret. so when you're playing higher notes your wrist isn't pressed on your body. The tuners are very sensitive and make it easy to tune. The finish on the guitar turns out differently on each one, mine looks more grayish black but I've seen some that look more gray with some blue. I've had no hardware or internal issues with this guitar and its a great purchase.

I play alot of different kinda music, but mostly metal...this guitar is obviously a metal guitar. I have had this guitar for awhile, and I love it. To give you an example, I have a brand spanking new ESP Horizon II, I had a show this last saturday, the ESP sat on my stand the whole show. The emg's scream, the neck is fast, the guitar is build to last. The only thing I wish it had was locking tuners, but that can be easily fixed. This guitar is every bit as good as an esp, taking from someone who knows. If you play any kind of metal, this is the guitar for you.

This guitar is awesome. I've owned a lot of cheap guitars and this is the first one with quality features, and that's what it's all about! The quality pickups, nut, and tuners make this ltd a fantastic buy. You really get a lot for your money on this guitar. It plays great, I like the action on it. I recommend you check one out at a local music store and see for yourself!

This is easily the best guitar I've ever played. It's neck alone is so smooth I practically slipped all the way through the arpeggios. Right off the box I picked it up and didn't even notice I had been playing for an hour. I used it on my line 6 spider II combo amp and it kicked ass. It has everything I wanted and just when I thought it oculdn't get better, it's tone knob was halfway down...it had EVEN MORE TONE than I could imagine. Simply the bets guitar round. And as a perk , if somebody doesn't like youre playin, it's lightweight and has a pointy headstock to stab the critics with. :D
