A 3-piece maple neck attached with the tone-maximizing set-thru joint combined with string-thru body construction give this guitar great sustain and strength. The thin U-shaped neck with 24 extra jumbo frets provides comfort for all playing styles. Abalone dot inlays in the rosewood fretboard and black nickel hardware complement the rest of the guitar's look perfectly. An EMG 81 humbucker pickup at the bridge and an EMG 85 at the neck provide plenty of power. Grover tuners and an Earvana compensated nut ensure you'll sound spot on in tune in every key.

People, I'm 45 yrs old, my brother in law 54, I've played vintage Strat's, Tele's & my favorites vintage Les Paul's Gold Tops. My brother n law is a pro musican. He always had the best he could not aford. As for as amps go Marshall, Vox, Dr. Z, Buddah and the best of all Mesa Boogie amps from Mark 1 to Mark 4 as well as the DC series. We plugged THE ESP into the Boogie Express 5:50 and WOW even he was impressed. Santana Sustain to pure tube overdrive with all of the sweet Fender sounds that I thought one could only get with a Fender. I own a Pre-CBS Fender Vibrolux. This guitar takes old world knowledge and employee's it with new world Tech.

Just bought this guitar from a local dealer. I just got one word for this guitar: AMAZING! The EMG's are so great and works with any type of genre.. The neck of this guitar is build for fast playing and the action was low and nice IMO. And it has an awesome finish, musch darker than this picture. Looks amazing! BUY THIS GUITAR! Most guitar you can get for money.
