I've played this guitar in a local shop and I was very impressed. Im usually an epiphone guy but my bass player uses ltd basses and I love them. I was supprised of the sound of the stock pickups. Great for any hard rock metal. I would definetely recommened this guitar to anyone who wants to shread and look good doing it.

I havent bought this guitar yet,will be buying it this week. I played it at my guitar lessons last week and oh my god,its AMAZING. The EMG Pickups give it that heavy sound even without my UM300 ultra metal distortion pedal. The neck is really fast. Its one of the lightest guitars I have used besides a Ibanez S Prestige. If you have the money and is looking for a awesome guitar BUY THIS. I have always been a Ibanez lover but this LTD surprised me

I got this guitar for myself this past christmas. I've been playing for two years and I wanted something with a neck thru for some nice sustain and overall quality. This guitar does it all, it offers a great neck true design and decent add ons for a reasonable price. The downside is that the body is agathis instead of mahogany, but hey you get what you pay for. Sound wise the guitar is pretty good although the current pickups will be switched out for Duncan Invaders.

The ESP LTD H-251 is a really awesome guitar. It's comfortable, and if you like to thrash this is the guitar for you. The Esp pickups deliver a brutal cutting edge of death to your metal. And the sustain is awesome. Anyway to make a story short; This guitar is beautiful. And It feels how it looks. Comparing it to a gibson les paul...I suppose the tuners could be replaced with some locking tuners.

I bought this guitar just 2 days ago and still haven't found anything wrong with it. It sounds better than my Epiphone Les Paul, it's a lot lighter, and it is easier to play. I give it a 5 on the features because it has dual humbucker pickups, neck-thru-body design, and it has a push-pull tone knob to select between dual coil or single coil on the pickups! I give it a 4.5 on the quality because even though it is a really good guitar, it is made of Agathis wood, which isn't exactly top of the line so it dents easily(which I haven't done yet) and when I bend the neck to lower the tone or raise it for effect I'm afraid I'm going to break it.
