Workhorse Guitar

I have had this guitar for around a year now, and as my title says, it is a workhorse guitar. Very durable, and sounds fairly good. Not muddled for the most part, but can tend to sound that way sometimes. Through my Roland amp it sounds very good, with good distortion. But, don't get this guitar if you play only blues. You will be dissapointed. Overall, the 101 is a good investment and a solid guitar.

well this guitar sounds great but the first week i had had it the volume knob came off im having some fret buzz in some places but other than that great guitar sounds heavy and full through a randall 35 watt and a digitech death metal pedal

This guitar is surprisingly fantastic. I was amazed at the tonality and versatility of it since it is a "budget guitar". I will probably buy a SH-4 JB and a Jazz but the pups on this guitar are fine stock. Definitely would recommend this guitar to anyone. The neck is smooth and fast and plays great. Not to mention the sweet look!!!

Look even if this guitar priced at 6 ot 700 bucks it would be a steel-- a solid guitar, the pick ups are a little dark but not muddy like what you would expect on a Econo-style guitar-- When ESP puts guitars out like this they definatley deliver a punishing blow to higher end Makers ala Gibson, and PRS. Do your self a favor and get it
