Decent Guitar

I owned this guitar at one time for about 3 or 4 years. I traded it with a couple hundred dollars for an epi les paul custom. -great trade by the way. Just as good as a Gibson, no doubt. The f250 that I had was an earlier model and it had the different EMG-HZ pickups in it. The new ones are most definitely an upgrade and I wish the model I had came with those ones. Over all though its a pretty good guitar but honestly it's probably worth spending a couple more bucks on a guitar with the active EMG 81/60 pickups. The ones on this guitar are a little more noisy. This guitar is worth the money though.

So I bought this because I actively started playing again, all I can say is this guitar is beautiful, I have it in black and it came to me flawless. Intonation was almost spot on except for one string, neck was perfect, floyd rose was parallel to body. I was skeptical about the floyd rose due to some bad experences on a few guitars I have had, but this one actually changed my mind. pickups scream, sustain is perfect, plays better then alot of high dollar guitars I have had. for the money it cannot be beat

I've wanted this guitar for 2 years before I finally bought it a week ago. I simply fell in love with it. It sounds awesome, looks awesome, and ever since I got it I can't put it down. The pickups sound really good, and I haven't had trouble with the Floyd Rose yet. I read a lot of reviews that said it wasn't good, but I guess if you don't over-use it, it won't let you down. Definitly a good guitar.

The first time I ever laid eyes on this guitar it was instant infatuation. That was 2 years before I could finally have one of my own. The first thing that caught my attention of course was the radical body design, a bit of a gothy twist on an otherwise generic super-strat style. But it was only until I read a review on the PRE-2004 model that I really started to look at it as more than eye candy, like a beautiful woman who you just found out can play better than you! Ah ha, so after much online searching I finally found one for a steal of a price, lo and behold not only was it a pre-04 model, but already had the EMG 81/85 set up! What luck can that be right? The neck was fast, smooth, and the perfect thickness/thinness for me, plus the Neck-thru is an awesome little feature for some serious sustaining. The Xtra jumbo frets are great for my lengthy fingers, and the pick-ups, oh the pick-ups :D if you're familiar with EMGs 81/85 set up I needn't say more. And surprisingly the Licensed FR bridge doesn't go out of tune as easily as people make it sound, or at least not mine, and I don't find changing strings or major changes in tuning all that difficult or inconvenient in the slightest, but that's just me. I actually play this guitar a lot more than my '74 Gibson LP Custom! I absolutely love it. LTD may be ESP's more affordable branch, but it's products are just as high quality.

I bought this guitar about six months ago and aside from the Licensed Floyd, it's amazing. The pickups are decent and the neck is almost perfect. The tremolo, however, makes changing strings a nightmare and using it any at all jerks the guitar completely out of tune. To fix this problem, I simply threw the tremolo bar away, so now I may as well have a fixed bridge guiitar. Aside from the trem, I would reccomend this guitar to anyone.
