Best guitar I have ever owned!

I have wanted this guitar since I was 13 years old (I am 31 now) and I finally own it as of September 2008. It has lived up to the hype that I have read about for several years. I primarily play hard rock/metal music and this guitar screams just that! I use a Rivera Knucklehead 100R through a Marshall 1960 4X12 cabinet. I own 4 ESP (not LTD) guitars and this one is by far the best. The neck is super smooth and the pickups sound great, even on clean channel! I would recommend this guitar to anyone who wants a guitar specifically for hard rock/metal.

I gotta start by saying that this is the best guitar i have played through. I have owned this model since 1994 or "95" I can't quite remember but this ax has held up through thick and thin.
I am not kidding this guitar has been through it all and it still plays and sounds like it did when I bought it. I own quite a few guitars including the kh3 model and this is my favorite.
If you have the money to spend on a high quality instrument then I highly recomend this model.

Smooth and powerful

Let me start by saying that I got the neck-thru version (KH-2 NTB). It has better upper neck access, and in my opinion more sustain than the bolt-on. The most valueable quality of this guitar (in my opinion) is the neck. It is not finished like the LTDs. The neck is smooth as silk and your playing will reflect that. I also love the inlays. The EMG 81s scream while distorted, but they can still produce soft warm tones when not. The only bad thing I have to say about this guitar is the price. But, you get what you pay. If you want an ESP signature series, you are going to pay for it. Is it worth it? Well, I love mine and it will not be for sale anytime soon. It is also comparible to in many ways (including price) to the Jackson soloists. The KH is a great guitar and a dream to play. You won't be disappointed.

This baby is definitely the best guitar I've ever played. I played it in a store the other day and it was amazing It has such a nice thin neck that isn't too thin its so fast. The neck plate is contoured really well so you can reach all the way up as if it was neck through. It doesn't have as much sustain as the neck through but its so much safer and easier. The emg 81's and alder give it awesome bite for soloing. Make sure u plug it into a good amp tho or it won't sound nearly as good. The floyd keeps u and perfect tune its amazing. The only thing I'd like 2 see is maybe an 85 in the neck which would be better for rhythym work or an ebony fretboard but that's my dream guitar. I almost wish I hadn't played it cuz now I want one so badly! If ur thinkin about this guitar vs jacksons and stuff just get it u won't regret it.
