The CB95 may not be true-bypass but it doesn't seem to effect my tone(in fact,I think it adds to it) This may be because it is the only pedal I run through the front(all other FX go through the 2 loops on my amp) I had a Bad Horsie,it REALLY sucked out the tone.The CB95 is much better.I love this thing!I recently upgraded to the Fasel model,it sounds even better!

Needs a true hardwire bypass

This wah makes the original dunlop wah sound, but it needs a true hardwire bypass. Without it, you will still hear some of the wah sound with the switch off, and it sucks tone out of your overall sound with it off. If you're going to get this pedal, install or find someone who can install a true hardwire bypass so you won't have this problem.

I would recommend doing that over buying a more expensive wah. If you look at a artist signature series wah you will see every one has the bypass in it. This is really the main difference between the signature wahs and this one.

I recently bought this Dunlop Crybaby from a friend of mine. First of all, it's great quality. He's had it for a year, and when i got it, it works just like the ones i tried out in the store. It's a great pedal with great tone. It's pretty versatile, you can play Guns and Roses, Metallica, and much more. It doesn't matter how much experience you've had with other wah pedals; once you buy it, it will be one of your favorite wahs for years to come.

I was watching a bar band a while back, noticed the lead guitarist was using this pedal. sounded beyond amazing! I decided to whip up some cash and invest in my own. Great wah wah pedal, couldn't ask for anymore. One thing is the 9V battery it uses dies somewhat quickly if you continue to use the pedal a lot. But hey! No problem, go buy another batter for like 3 bucks! If your thinking about buying this, stop and just buy it already, cause its amazing.

This pedal is very well made. It's sturdy, it sounds great, and if you play your cards right, very versatile. If you are like me you will view this pedal as a wah, and also as 2 extra tone settings. First tone: regular wah pedal off second tone: wah on all the way forward. it gives it a punchier sound. very well for funk and finally the third tone: wah pedal all the way back. it's a very muted, bass sound. very good if you are swapping from distortions in a song. That's how I think about it. I love this pedal. I had high expectations and they were met with even more.
