Dunlop has taken the original Crybaby and added the three most popular and requested upgrades: the famous "Q" control, which varies the intensity of the wah effect by adjusting the effect's bandpass shape; the volume Boost, for up to +15 dB added gain; and Dunlop's Auto-Return function that automatically engages the effect when you place your foot on the pedal. The 95Q is a flexible tone monster that retains the original Crybaby's fast-reacting characteristics.

Heavy die-cast steel construction. Q dial. Made in the USA. Uses optional ECB003 power supply.

Dunlop 95Q Crybaby Wah Pedal Features:

  • Original vintage effect
  • Q control
  • Volume boost
  • Auto-return function
  • Heavy-duty durability
  • Smooth operation and easy control

I've used other wah pedals and this one is my favorite. The best thing I like about it is that you don't have to click it on and off, as soon as you step on it, it's on, when you take your foot off, it's off. No hassle. The adjustment knobs help you to dial in the tone that your looking for and can really help to bring some serious tone to your solos. A must have on stage.

I have owned this pedal for about 2 years now. Its a great wah-wah, and probably the best sounding wah I own, and I own 5 wahs. One thing a lot of people may not know about this wah is that there is an adjustment for the tapper off inside by the battery.

The good thing about this wah wah is the versatility it has...The volume boost is great, especially since you can dial in how much of a boost you get. Its great for say The Stooges "1969", to kick in a loud wah wah towards the end.

The variable Q is also useful, however sometimes when playing at home its hard to find the exact sound I want no matter what different positions I place it...however, playing live its not an issue, since your in the moment and all. I usually set the Q around the middle and it gets a nice groove going with the high and lows of the pedal.

Overall a good pedal, peforms well live, and controls are all good. Once in a while when I get picky I can't find the EXACT tone I want, but I get pretty close. Good stuff, nice and heavy too. For the money and all the different controls and the overall tone, its a great buy...Too bad they couldnt make it look as nice as the Hendrix wah wah.

I got this wah yesterday and it is not only my fist wah but also my first effets pedal. I have to say I can easily get a Slash, Zakk Wylde, Jimi Hendrix kind of sound. It also has these eq knobs on the side as well as a booster switch. The reason why this wah does it's job so well is because it isn't a multi effects wah it only does the wah effect so tone quality isn't compromized

Well I have had this pedal for 2 years now so I thinks it's time I can provide a fair review. I play gigs almost daily with this thing on my pedalboard. I use it a lot too! love wahs for funk covers and solo work. I ran into an incident with the spring arm breaking at a gig a few weeks ago (the part that return the pedal to "up" position). It just snaped an fell out from underneath the rocker. Looking at it, it seems pretty solid, it's like 3-ply, just wore the hell out. kinda had some rust on it too from moisture which probably contributed. I like the auto return, but only sometimes. You cannot rock to a tone and leave it there, which ive now found I actually quite enjoy now that my auto return is broken. also, the delay from the time the effect disengages can be noticable & bothersome depending on what you're playing. Its a little overkill on the features though (it's a wah afterall)I don't want this thing adding color to my sound. The Q is something u would only do once to tune the thing to where you like it and then never touch. being exposed with a knob makes it suceptible to getting accidentally adjusted during transit and such. All in all, good pedal I guess. i dont think I would buy this one again for me, its overkill and mine broke(was well used for 2 years though)

I'm using this pedal with a Fernandez les paul bodied guitar and a modified boss DS-1 (modded with more mids). The sound effect is strong enough to produce a nice angry lead tone. When I'm on clean setting, I can also emulate a nice swirling phase effect while rocking the pedal mildly. I owned the 535Q and GCB95 before but sold them because it was very hard to use live. The switch design on the 95Q is great! Now I can use effect througout a song without any effort. If I'll compare the sound of the 95Q and 535Q, I would go for the 535Q. If I'll compare the 95Q to GCB95, I would choose 95Q because the sound effect on the GCB95 is quite subtle. I think the best amp setting for this effect is - lower treble and do not scoop the mids. Otherwise, your tone will be too shrill enough to make your audience head for the exit. ...

this is the best wah ive owned in 25 years of playing.and i bought it when they first came out in 97? yes,it is digital i believe as it has a pcb with micro components, but it has no effect on my tone when bypassed and a perfect buffer. but switchless is the main reason to buy one. sounds like a good crybaby should. ...

it sounds amazing clean with my strat and jc-60 amp. but it also plays well before any distortion or overdrive ive ever put after it. i use a tremolo like wah teqnique ALOT in my playing by rocking my wahs back and forth rapidly.the switchless designe makes this easier but so does the spring loaded treadle,it snaps back to the off position if you take your wieght off of it. ive had this so long now that im afraid i couldnt go back to a non spring loaded pedal again. i dont have much use for the volume boost or mini pots to adjust the wah q. i just set the q at maximum and turn off the boost to unity gain. ...
