this is a great pedal for use. good high and lows. specially when you use it with something strong like dimarzio x2n or emg-81 or...pups!!! it blows your amp! but in compare with my digitech death-metal it has a lower volume and i dont know is it due to its old!?(i own it for 6 years) or...!! it is weaker than boss metal-core in my opinion. but still i like that.with this metal-pedal you can make wide range of sounds. i also suggest a good equalizer with it

I have had this pedal for about 3 years. The sound this pedal gives me is amazing, its heavy, its quiet, and it has the best bass responce I have ever heard. I never liked the Idea of running my Metalmater digital pedal into my Tube amp(its a mental thing) so for the past few years I have bought just about every analog distortion/overdrive pedal there is from 50 to 350 dollars. and I ALWAYS end up returning them and going back to the Metal Master. I have just accepted that this pedal IS my sound and Im sticking with it.

Great pedal. I play different distortion pedals on a JCM800, Krankenstein, Randall SC200 and Combos like Spider3 15W and Marshall MGDFX50. I always go back to this pedal because it has tones of gain and it is easily tweakable. I get it to sond like Dime, Iomi, 80s and Death stuff. The only distortion pedal that makes me lower the guitar volume because of so much nice, cutting through gain. It scoops mids greatly, better than many other pedals. BUY it before they're gone forever. With so many options in the market, I wish Digitech would keep this one. It is very sturdy and simple to mess with.

I love this pedal. I have used my friends digitech death medal pedal and i much rather have this pedal.This pedal makes great medal sounds and is good for playing metallica and killswitch engage.
