The DigiTech TimeBender is a delay effect pedal featuring 10 delay types. Included are: Analog, Digital, Moving Head Tape, Fixed Head Tape, Dynamic (ducking delays), Reverse and Time Warp delay modes. Sophisticated functions include full-time tone control, modulation, multiplier, tap tempo, and repeat ping-pong patterns on all delay types. I used most high-end delay effects including racks. But not only does this sound high-end, this has the most advanced features, i.e. stroke tap-tempo, multi-tap delays and stereo loop, envelope, dynamic delay, etc.

It beats all the competitions out there. Do the research yourself.

The Time Bender Delay is the most versatile delay that I have ever used. This pedal goes beyond a standard delay pedal allowing the player to conjure up complex rhythmic pitch shifted delay patterns in addition to sounds that should be in a sci fi movie. Although the number of knobs makes the pedal seem intimidating it is easy to get going with some basic delay sounds. The built in looper is a nice feature and allows you to pitch shift individual loops (including down an octave down for laying bass lines). The unit unfortunately only has 4 presets so be prepared to write some favorite settings down. The unit has solid construction, an easy to read display, and a blue LED that flashes the delay speed(its very bright when your face is up close) . I have also used the Boss DD-20 and while I have no faults with it do not compare it against the TimeBender because of their similar form factor; the TimeBender offers so many more sounds in the pitch shifting and rhythmic delay features.
