Great Preamp!

I am very poor, so I am currently running my guitar through a Crate Keyboard amp that really, just makes everything sound bad. I bought this way back when I was a beginner, then stuck it in a corner after getting a Boss DS1, not knowing of it's greatness. After a while, and learning about "good tone", I decided to pull this out again, and boy was I wrong to ever put that away.
The pedale has this great Fender Blackface setting that puts justice to my amp. Although, I wouldn't really agree with the distortions that this thing has. I recommend you place an overdrive in front of it and you're good. I use an Ibanez TS-7)All my single effects I place in front of this thing. To add to all that, it also gave me reverb, yet another thing my amp is not equipped with. It's also just fun to experiment with the effects that you wouldn't really use. So basically, this thing makes for a great amp with reverb.

It's the only pedal I've got and I like it. To switch to bypass is a pain but still at least it has it. It's great to mess around with and i really like everything about it except than you can't blend effects, that really sucks. I mainly use the clean chorus and the rectifier distortion and sometimes the flanger and phaser because those are the very few good effects but I really like it.

All I can say about this one is WOW! I couldn't resist the clearance price, so I got one to hook onto my 'Chinese Fender' that I use for noodling around on. I was hoping it might kick up the sound a little. It did that and then some! I listened to the audio clips and figured it was probably some top-notch axe and amp setup. I was blown away when my cheap guitar sounded just like the clip!! I highly recommend one before they're gone.

Our keyboardist gave up guitar and never used this pedal. (probly why I'm writing this review ;) Anyways, I love this pedal to death. I'm not paid to say this either, it works flawlessly at our practice sessions. I know that the bypass feature is kind of difficult to hit both pedals at the same time, but at least you have a bypass. And the tuner, well, lets just say its better than my guitar tuner, and it is through cables, so you can tune while your band is making noise, er, music. I have to say that this opens up much creativity, not just as a guitarist but as an experimentalist. I like some of the useless effects that are preset, they are useless, pointless, annoying screetches or bubbly 3rd below tunings that get on my nerves and I can't blend anything with. I like the digital screen and the led lights that tell me exactly what I'm doing so I don't mess anything up. And you can single out one effect, for example delay or distortion, and "model" it to what you need, and use it just like that, it has up to 2 seconds of delay!!! and this is a cheap pedal. Great product, thank you, Digitech :)

So, i got this a couple years ago. back then my only effect was distortion. but that pedal broke so i got this as a back up pedal till i got a new one. this thing has inspired me to expand my pedal board. now i have a big muff, small stone, space echo, and this. i use it as an overdrive, it gets an ok led zeppelin 2 sound distortion. i can get a little heavier distortion too. and the flanger on this pedal is great. the only thing i don't like about it is that, to bypass it you have to press both switches and sometimes that doesnt work and you will get a different sound than you want, and it sucks while playing live.
