Wow! This is a great piece of gear! Starting with the good: LOTS of effects and features, if I could give a 6 on features I would. The drum machine is a very good throw-in, I use it almost every time I play. The interface is pretty easy to use once you get all of the controls down. Looper is pretty good, I just wish it had more time to loop with. I also love how you can select a preset, and then turn on stomp mode to Access things like distortion, chorus/ fx, and delay. This is a very useful feature, but sometimes it can be hard to hit both pedals to activate it, which can pose a problem while playing live. I also like how easy it is to read the display. Now for the bad stuff: The wah pedal is easy to use, but the higher end of the wah sound gets very high-pitched and harsh. Also, some of the distortions can get very harsh. The only cure for this is a mastery of the effects library, and also some know-how on how to use effects. Other than that though, I have no other major gripes. This is a VERY good fx pedal, I would say best in class for the price. Don't let the little things stop you from buying this, I have no regrets at all, it's such a fun piece of equipment! Thanks for reading my review, hope it helped!

i have used modeling amps such as line 6s peavey and i've used pedalboards with some very high end pedals on it but none compare this thing puts them all to shame, the distortions and amps take a little tweaking, but you should expect that from a multi effects pedal, the effects sound great not as hard to dial in as amps it just takes a little while to set the 4or5 parameters how you like them,so much versatility you can create presets of so many real sounding amps the rectifier sounds exactly alike to the real thing, the wah is great usully i'm hard to satisfy when it comes to wahs but i love these, the crybaby is dead on,in closing if your a rocker on a budget this is your pedal,

I bought the RP355 as a back up to my Boss and Roland equipment. I had to bring in the RP355 to cover a power failure during a gig and haven't gone back. Selection of amps, effects, loops, etc. is superior and it is easier to use once set up. I really like Boss/Roland, but the Digitech RP355 has them beat for amp and effects modeling. The lead guitarist was so impressed he bought one too. Now the RP355 is my starting equipment and the Roland is back up.

I have been using Digitech products for years now and I love them. The RP-355 is a great value for the money. It has a drum machine that makes playing fun and a 20 second looper. There are tons of effects and the unit comes with Cubase LE 4, which is a steel for the price. Good Unit, Great Value!

Where else can you get great amp and effects modeling, USB interface, and recording software for this price? Awesome sounds, especially when recording. Looper is fun but I wish I had twice the time (20 seconds wasn't enough). Easy to edit especially with the editor software. Can't go wrong getting this product as it smokes anythin in its class.
