To the guy below that said "Buy Analog", apparently the musician you listened to had his output switch on the wrong setting for what he is plugged into. Personally I'd much rather play through one pedal that can accurately recreate tons of classic amps, pedals and effects (which this does!) and weighs only a few pounds than have to maintain and replace costly, outdated, fragile radio/tv technology, which nowadays often has to be ordered from overseas... have fun waiting for your tubes to arrive. To top it off these come with excellent recording software in Cubase LE4 and are one the easiest to use USB audio interfaces I've tried. Get a USB cable if you don't have one!

Wow! I am really surprised how much I use this thing every day. You can plug your earphones into it and play just like studio quality. I have quit using my amp and just use this to play though. This pedal is AMAZING!! You can record and overdub on this pedal just like recording in a studio. I finally found the sound I want and can tweek (adjust)

This pedal is fine for things like playing at home or at low volumes, whatever. The problem is that ALL tonal subtleties just go right out the window. That's the issue with digital effects, there's no FEEL to it. I know a guy who uses this thing, and we can't listen to him play. When you turn the drive up just a little bit it sounds like a computer going through labor and all of our ears start bleeding. Do yourselves a favor, BUY ANALOG.

I have had this for about a year now and have dropped it many times and its still one piece. Not too god for live shows unless u have the usb cable to create your own sounds or put effects into the right order. but besides this is a perfect effect pedal for a play at home or jamming with friends kind of musician.

RP225 Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal

This is a pretty great pedal. It has a ton of great stuff on it and if you buy all the stuff separately you will be paying thousands of dollars. There's a few down sides to it though. It has no on off switch which somebody already noted + it cuts out rather abruptly if you try to sustain for too long. I don't like that part at all but I will keep the pedal because it has all kinds of distortion + effects + loop machine. Good stuff.
