Had this RP250 for about a month now and I'm very happy with the sound quality and value of this pedal. The sounds are actually extremely well done and the effects (if you have a good amp and axe) are satisfying for all but probably most demanding of live or studio situations. People shouldn't forget the rich user community with over 750 submitted presets to mess around with also! Only wish the Wah was a little easier to use, came with the Cubase software and included a USB cable. I bought it on deep sale, but now that its a little more expensive you may want to consider a few bucks more for the RP350 with Cubase. In all a great tool to have in the belt.

I've had this thing for about a year and a half it's awsome. Really the only complaint I have is that one of my pedals kinda broke so me and my friend took it apart to see what was wrong with it and what holds th epedals in place it one of the paper clip kinda things and it popped off easy fix though other than that love it.

Got the rp250 about 2 weeks ago and I can do more with this thing than I ever ever thought possible for a unit this size. I can use the drum track then overdub with my fostex and when I'm done it sounds like expensive studio work. I can now get the sounds that all the big names have plus my own. Great price great unit buy it.

About two years after I started playing a friend of mine (who was also a decent guitarist) gave the Digitech to me. I love it because it allows you to make your own effects by simple tweaks of a knob and put them in any scroll slot you want. I do alot of distortion/clean switches, and it allowed me to switch from Thrash to Pink Floyd-like clean reverbed sound with the stomp of 1 button. The only thing is the wah pedal is very susceptable to turning off in the middle of the solo because its wah/volume button is fairly sensative. The built in drum machine (also tweakable) helped me write when the band wasnt around too, so I would have to say this is one of the best products a beginner/intermediate guitarist could possibly want.
