The Digitech GNX4 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal features a built-in MIDI drum machine that rivals standalone units and includes a vast library of high-quality kits and patterns. It also lets you use your own MIDI files, and the GNX4 pedal can also playback MP3s, download lessons from guitar magazines, and has 8-track digital recording that can be operated with foot controls. Great but could be sturdier

I owned this and while i was completely nuts over how much you could do with one unit, i was dissappointed at how cheap it was put together. Granted, it would have bumped up the cost, but I've a fan of pedals built like a tank. Plastics knobs and buttons tend to break (especially if you're running around on stage like a maniac, stomping on this thing). Needless to say, the knobs broke on me to the point all i could use was the "3","4", and "5" pedals. I had to use the wah pedal to turn on my distortion. So if you're careful- good buy. If you need military grade hardware- goodbye.

-All you need in one place, the sounds are amazing, easy to use, great for recording... If you are alover of the sounds of the real singe efects, it may take you some time to find your sound, but beleve me its just amazing..

Found a refurb deal here. Great savings and the condition was perfect. Let me tell you there is not much the pedal can't do. My band has played and gigged over 15 times and GNX4 has served me great! I went on a trip and took it with me. So much fun to have my mp3's, drum machine and bass emulator right here! Connected it up to a buds Jeep car stereo inputs and jammed. Ran a MK acoustic elect into it and doing the beach craze Buffet tunes was the attraction. Some guys were guitar players and never game much look at the GNX4. They want one now ;) Many ways and audio routing options. I play a wedge and a pa sys. Sounds excellent with my back up tracks. I'm going to expand the amps with the online discs from mfx. I bought 2 flash cards and have 150 songs of our sets to practice with. Tellin you, it don't get any better.

This is probably the best investment I've ever made. I travel quite a bit and this workstation is IDEAL for mobile recording. Just hook up your headphones and you have an 8 track studio with hands free recording at your disposal. I recommend this to any guitarist that wants to record a full bands worth of music before rehearsal. CHECK IT OUT!

I got the GNX4 about 2 years ago and it still is in good shape. There is nothing this pedal can't do. And for the price it is a great deal. you could spend more money on buying stompboxes to equal the amount of options this baby has. 5/5 of course. I would highly recommend this to a friend.
