Great Metal Pedal

I'm very impressed with this pedal. I've been looking for a good heavy metal pedal for a while, and this is the one I chose. I compared it to MXR, Boss, Digitech and a bunch of others. This sounds better and costs less. The 3 knobs are Gain, "Shape" (mids) and Volume. My only complaint is that you can't control the treble/bass, because it's a bit bright. Overall I think it's a great pedal. It even has true bypass.

This was my first distortion pedal and i wasn't pleased to hear the tone it gave out of my Marshall. The sound is very thin and could be better. I intend on selling it and saving up for a BOSS pedal that i tried out not too long ago.

I need a pedal with a rich sound but expeamented on price. This pedal rocks! You can beef up your tube head or it sounds great by its self. Take the tone knob down for a scoop death tone or turn the tone up for that Incantation bowel. As far as feature, more tone adjustments would make this thing worth 10 times more! Turn the tone clockwise does give it more volume. The gain is great and at 10 very saturated.

I bought this today. It really delivers on the cold, high gain thing, even on my single coil Strat. Solid construction, simple controls, nice aesthetics, all for a VERY reasonable price tag. I bought the DeltaLab chorus as well (good sounding pedal) and will be checking out their other products.

I bought this today at a local shop. It was on sale and I've never used a Delta Lab pedal before so it was a risk but I'm glad I took it. I've been having a hard time finding a distortion that would sound good with my Strat. My search ended here. It sounds very rich with single-coil pickups which surprised me. I can only imagine how it would sound with humbuckers! Rich harmonics, noiseless signal, built tought. The "shape" knob is a nice feature. It doesn't seem to react the same way as a typical "tone" knob would. It seems to mostly adjust the mids and it does a fine job. You can get thick tone out of this or shrill screams to please anyone. These pedals are very sturdy and I wouldn't worry about damage. Seems like they can definitely take abuse and with the True Bypass switching it's a winner for me!

I use it with a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe (on the clean channel) and my USA Standard Strat w/stock pickups. It's a great combination. It's worth giving a chance.
