If you are looking at this pedal, chances are you are on a budget. Looking at it through that lense, you can't go wrong with the DD1. I use it every week due to the fact that I am the worship leader at my church. It is excellent for ambiant sounds and slow melodic phrases. The only down side is that the battery is accessible through the bottom of the unit and the back of the battery casing keeps falling off of mine. Nothing a little duct tape can't take care of, but I did ding it on quality for that reason. For the price and for what it does, you get more than what you pay for.

Almost desperate, I ran over to my local music store looking for a delay pedal to use at a gig the following night. First off, I must say that I look for VALUE in my equipment. My main guitar is a Squier Hot Rails Deluxe and my chorus pedal is a Danelectro FAB. So far, both of those have been surprising in value. So when I asked the manager about a very inexpensive delay pedal that does the jobs fairly well, he told me to just try one of these. Hooked her up during practice that night and it just blew me away. It was so easy to make adjustments to, and it sounded great! The only problem I had was when I went to activate it, sometimes my foot would hit the control knobs and throw off the levels. Quick fix at the show the next night: I set my levels and threw a piece of masking tape over them so my foot wouldnt turn any of the knobs.

I picked one of these guys up yesterday to go along side my modtone analog delay. It lacked length on the repeats (only reason I wanted a digital delay to go along with my analog) I could get the same repeats but warmer from my analog. Good pedal, Good price, Very sturdy....Just not for me.

This is a pretty good pedal for the price. I mainly have been using it for some reverb to get that tunnel sound I like. For its price like I said its one of the best out there. I use it with my fender tele mim and it works just great to get that indy feel. If I were you I'd get a hold of one.
