One of my favorites

My friend owned this guitar. I assumed it'd be another cheap dinger but I learned otherwise once I played it. The guitar is cheaply manufactured (obviously) but I love it for two reasons: firstly, it's amazingly comfortable (light weight, well balanced) secondly, it produces a great dirt nasty sound that's perfect for some songs. After playing it, I bought my own.

Very Disapointed

When I ordered this guitar I was hoping that it would be ok. I didn't expect to much considering the price. When it came in I un-boxed and noticed considerable finish flaws, and it went downhill from there. I plugged it in and immediately noticed that the input was completely loose. Signal kept cutting in and out. When I took a closer look it was clear that the wiring was very poor, and within a day it completely cut out. I returned the guitar and bought an Ibanez insteat which was a much better product.

Buying another one.

I bought this guitar to have an alternately tuned guitar for quick song changes. I got far more than I expected. I cannot put this thing down. It is very lightweight but the light wood seems to give it incredible sustain. The one I received had no cosmetic or funtional problems. Did a few adjustments and this thing perfect. I am buying another one (the natural this time), and will most likely be purchasing mroe in the future as gifts.

Great First Guitar

First off I may not be an expert but my opinion is that this is a great first guitar. It was actually my first electric after I had been playing acoustic for about a year. Since then I've been playing it for about an hour a day for 4 months and it has held up great so far. Keep in mind that a guitar is only as good as its amp, so unless you have a decent amp the guitar may not sound great. It was ready to play out of the box and besides one minor cosmetic flaw on the finish it was in great condition. All together I'd recomend it to anyone wanting to start playing guitar.

Great Guitar !!!

I don't own this guitar but on every website where I looked up Dean Vendetta XMT, all of the professional guitarist gave it 5 out of 5. Only the people who don't know how to adjust the guitar said they don't like it because they like guitars that are ready to play out of the box. My point is that once you buy this guitar and you don't know how to fix it, go online and find out the problem. 99% of the time, the problem will take 2-3 minutes to fix for free. Ignore the people who gave the guitar bad reviews, they are the people who are to lazy to give 2-3 minutes to fix the guitar. This guitar can play anything with the right amplifier. Especially if you play rock, metal and blues, this is the guitar for you.
