I bought this guitar a couple of months ago and it is absolutely an amazing guitar. I did not know really what to expect when I got it but it is excellent quality, the neck is fast and very playable, the fit and finish is excellent, I got the natural finish, it is darker than in the picture, but a beautiful guitar, just put some hotter pickups in and this guitar is good to go. I am extremely impressed with the quality of Dean products. You will not be disappointed.

This was my first guitar, and i still have it today. This isnt the most amazing guitar ever, but you wont find something better for a beginner, its very cheap and for its price plays great, its very light too. one of the best deals around for anyone starting out or if you need a cheap back up guitar that plays alright.

i bought the dean vendetta around the weekend it came out a few years ago. i loved the satin raw look of it, and it was light. i was sick of my squire bullet and this was the replacement. i was a beginner, however, and didn't understand the cheap guitar rules. the thing only sounds good through digital equipment;(i.e. no tube amplification or analog pedals) it just has NO sound of its own. it is weak and the sound goes right through it. i replaced this guitar with a Dean USA V and this one became my beater. however, it only worked one full year because the pots kept falling out, the input jack ripped out when i stepped on the cable once, the wood is so soft it chips easily and you can almost write in it with your fingernails, and the soldering was so bad my bridge 'bucker quit. the neck is twisted starting on the fourth fret back to the first. however, i had fun with it while it lasted. BTW; the squire still works perfectly and it's had ten times the abuse. i just never play it due to my gibson les paul, ibanez artcore, dean V, & washburn cumberland 12 string i've aquired. don't get this vendetta.

Like a lot of other people have said before me, this guitar is very inconsistent. The one I got was very nice. As a lot of you said, the color of this guitar is a lot darker than they show it as. This guitar is insanely light, even my 3 year old nephew can pick it up. The knobs were, however very loose and did not stop turning no matter how much i turned it LOL. This has amazing looks and is amazingly playable. I just love it.

I purchased this guitar for my 7 year old. I did not want to start him with a student guitar and have him get used to it.

I pulled it from the box and was amazed at how light (weight) it was. The finish is not as glossy as the photos show but still a nice piece.

I tuned it and started to play and was amazed at the sound. It was great. Playing basic chords and then into some Sublime.

Getting a little noise but I expected it.

My son loves it when I am not using it.

For the stupid deal that it was, it is a great piece. I recommend it to anyone.
