Great sound, great look. It is simply a beautiful guitar that sounds amazing. I have the trans amber, and it's flawless. I previously was a strat guy. I still like strats, of course, but my next guitar will be another soltero.

An Excellent, Versatile Guitar

This guitar looks very stylish without losing the quality of sound.

The body is shaped like a Les Paul except that it has the sculpt on the guitar that makes it stand out from a standard guitar and adds style to it as well, but it is quite heavy. With the Grover tuners I now have a guitar that stays in tune for a very long time. Also the single-cutaway neck gives it more sustain when holding a note and bending it.

The best feature is the pickups on the guitar because it is you can use in many rock and metal genres; It can give you a nice clean tone, but can also give that crunch you need for distortion.

The main complaint that I could find is the single cut-away neck can make reaching the highest frets more complicated than it needs to be. Over all it comes with my highest recommendation.

I've been playing for twenty years now, and I have always been a Gibson, Fender guy. I spotted this guitar in a local music store and couldn't believe the price. This is a high quality instrument for a rock bottom price. Great tone and action. The tapped coil pick-up give you a great range of sounds. It's a little on the heavy side, but the Les Pauls and Les Paul look alikes have never been known for being light weights. Put it up against anything in its price range, it will blow it away.
