I bought this guitar about a year ago, here is what I have to say. When I invested in this guitar I give it a 4.5. 1.a features are good, I like the duel locking on the strings and fine tuners. It realy helps keep the strings in check at all times. 1.b it has a two way toggle switch for optional use, very useful. 1.c the only thing I dont about this guitar is the Floyd Rose Bridge. Its a pain to put new strings on and tweek the bridge to your style. you will require a little paitence to handle this guitar. 2.a. Pick ups are good, great sound great for heavy metal orhad rock. on its clean seting has a beautiful clear tone, and works perfect with any effect or amp. 3.a Overall this guitar is perfect. the only thing Im not fond of is the Floyd Rose. other than that the neck is nicely shaped, good for fast playing and shredding. Its oerall tone is lower than most guitars. Of couse you can just tweek it with the tone knob. I hope this review encourages you to think about getting this guitar, if not this one Dean is amazing and has my buy. I highly recomend Dean to anyone looking for rock or Metal.

This is the first Dean guitar I've purchased or played. It looks and plays much better than I expected. I'm generally not one for signature guitars, but this one rocks. I've played an assortment of guitars over the years and this one ranks up there in my opinion. For the look and feel of this guitar, I think you're definitely getting your money's worth.

This guitar has always had a little bit of my attention since before I even started learning guitar. After playing for about 6 months and ready for a better guitar than my Strat knock-off, I headed to the store, after a different guitar than this, but I saw it there and decided to try it. The paint job looks about 10 times worse when you see it up close and the headstock is terribly large. It sounds pretty decent, it plays fairly well for a guitar of its amplitude. My complaint is the jagged point on the top side of the body stabs you in the ribs when you're playing sitting down. It doesn't tickle, that's for sure. Overall, it's all right. I'm not one for buying another musicians custom instrument, though. So it's not for me.

I'm a big fan of Dime, but for the money this is a decent guitar at best. The paint job looks tons better on the internet, the neck pick up doesn't sound good at all, and you're eventually gonna chip the corners or the paint is gonna rub off from the case. It does play good, and the Dimebucker has some balls for a passive pick up. So if you just want to look good on stage and get some good metal sounds it's very capable, but I would save your money and buy a Schecter Hellraiser or Jackson DKMG. I have one and have played the other several times and for a few hundred less the sound and feel of those two will blow this out of the water. Just my opinion.

One of the best guitars ever if not the best guitar ever. This guitar has amazing quality the only reason I did not give quality 5 because I bought it used. the sound is perfect but thats what you expect from the dimebucker. The neck pickup is ok good for soloing but not pinch harmonics use the dimebucker for those. The only thing i dont like is changing or tuning a string it can get really annoying with all those locks but at least it takes a while to untune. Overall this is a great guitar if you can buy it.
