The pickups on this guitar are not very good.Instead of buying pickups and paying for their installment you would do better just by buying a better guitar. If you cant afford a expensive guitar then save your money for an epiphone or squire.

I've had this Guitar for about 2 years now. I have never used it at a Gig, unfortunately I don't quite trust it yet. As most of the other reviews have stated, the Hardware, and electronics just don't cut it. I am planning on putting different tuners, and pickups in it. I am happy to have gotten this Guitar, I love the finish, it's light, and the neck is mint. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a decent Guitar at a reasonable price, you can't beat the price.

It is not a bad starter guitar but not for more experienced players. It is easily upgraded and nicely tuned. My only problem with it is the tone nob fell off. I don't own it my friend does and i like it for the most part.

They have this at my local music store. i played it and it sounds great. looks great to, they have it in transparent black (looks like satin) then once i went to my guitar teachers bands concert and they had a band open up for them. the frontman had one in natural and it looks good in that and its sounds great on stage.

Not a bad guitar if you do some upgrading.

Let me first say this, I have played many, MANY guitars, and am a seasoned, experienced, active musician. I purchased this guitar a few years back because I dig the style, sound, and over-all quality of deans, needless to say that it was cheap.

THIS GUITAR WILL NOT SOUND GOOD OUT OF THE BOX. IT LACKS TONE AND POWER.

I finally decided to throw some Seymor Duncan Black-Outs on it, re-wire EVERYTHING, re-paint it, and carve out the body to fit a Floyd-Rose Tremolo rig. Once I had the locking nuts on it there was no issue with it slipping tune. With all of the upgrades on one hell of a body it actually is a very decent guitar, you just have to spend some extra dough to make it that way.

Its a very sturdy guitar, its just that the electronics and hardware on the stock model are not that good.

If you like projects, buy this, paint it to your liking(the stock finish is an unattractive matte wood grain) and throw some good activated pickups on it to make it scream.
